Fairy Art

November 14, 2010

Do you believe in fairy tales? I do...
That's why a few years ago when i saw this big, hard cover, book about fairies i bought it at once! The moment you open it, you enter the fairy world...as seen through the eyes of the greatest masters! It explores the world of fairy painting from nineteenth to twentieth century, presenting the work of Richard Dadd, Joseph Noel Paton, John Anster Fitzgerald, John Atkinson Grimshaw, Richard Doyle and Arthur Rackham  and their influences from literature, religion, myths and many more. It's really revealing to see the inspiration and the magic of those mysterious beings.
Enjoy...

Start believing ...Fairy tales are always based on true stories...

Update: Some friends asked me from where i bought it.So the bookstore was Papasotiriou but i did a little google search and... you can also find it here.
