Nicolas AW 2011

Yesterday I was invited to watch the fashion show of Nicolas, who presented his collection  for AW2011, and I have to admit it was certainly a nice surprise  how much I enjoyed the evening. First of all, allow me to start with the excellent music tunes from Dimitris Papakonstadinou, that totally dragged you into the mood of the 50's! The hall of Porto Palace was just the place for the ocassion and Stefanos Malamas who actually was the art director of the show, created the perfect set so as to highlight the designer's clothes. My favourite pieces was definitely the 'old-school' circle skirts, the dresses and the lace details that reminded me chic, classy women from the past. Also big hit of the show was the two tone shoes and bags from the store Zenya. As you can imagine it was impossible to post all the outfits so I chose my faourites. Hope you enjoyed them!

Catwalk Fashion Show at Notos Galleries

Notos Galleries are celebrating their one successful year of operation in Thessaloniki and for that reason, this Saturday, October 1st, a great party will take place for the fashion lovers of Thessaloniki. A catwalk fashion show will be held, presenting the collections of AW  2011-2012 and the guests will have the opportunity to check out the new trends and the clothing companies hosted in Notos. Even more...ATMA will performance live and make the whole event a big party. Part of the profits from sales of the day will be given to 'STORGI', Association for children with neoplastic diseases.

Sponsors of the event are  MAX FACTOR and SONY, and media sponsor is the  Close Up magazine.

Meet Mary Katrantzou :: Backstage Footage

It was a night to remember! Yesterday along with Alexander and Vero we attented the big event 'Meet Mary Katrantzou' and we had the chance to see the whole process of the evening from the backstage and actually meet and interview Mary Katrantzou. Whatever I write can't even begin to describe my feeling when I first entered the room and I saw the clothes and the shoes. Bold colorful prints, beautiful textiles and red sole heels! And it was just the begining! Upstairs was presented an exibition with pieces from past collections of the talented designer and finally at the end, the fashion show with the latest collection Fall Winter 2011.

The Christian Louboutin heels for Mary Katrantzou was definetely my cup of tea! 

Dimitris Giannetos, the make up artist and hair stylist of the night -who was actually the life and soul of the room- doing his magic along with Elnett- L'Oreal  hair spray!

As you see it was a unique expirience and for all that I truly want to thank Nantia Matha, the online marketing manager of L'Oreal, who took  good care of us and helped us feel like home, and also Despina Amarantidou- Brand manager of L'Oreal Paris, Maria Miliou- PR and Communications Director of L'Oreal Hellas, Maria Chatziamalou Communication Director of Lancome and Stefanos Malamas-Art Director of the night.
