You may already know that I'm obsessed with patterns lately, so you can imagine that when I stumbled upon Charlotte Taylor's blog and I saw her collections my heart stopped beating! I adore everything about them, the colors combinations, the shapes and the general esthetics. Her latest collection Spring/Summer 2012 is inspired by spring time, spring sounds and activities, Bonsai and Sakura trees. You have alredy seen the backstage footage here but as you can imagine the highlight of the evening was the interview I had with Mary Katrantzou. I have to admit I was realy nervous-my legs were shaking- but that was only the first seconds because she was so simple and kind and as you'll see, in the mood for talking. I hope you enjoy the video.

(The interview is in Greek and again I'm really sorry for the bad quality of sound.)

Once again I own a big thanks to everyone who made all this possible and of course to Mary Katrantzou for being so sweet and friendly. It was a pleasure! Hoping for more in the future.

Meet Mary Katrantzou

The internationally renowned Greek fashion designer Mary Katrantzou is coming to Thessaloniki for her first exclusive event in Greece. In collaboration with Lancome and L'oreal Paris, the event will take place in the Science Center and Technology Museum "NOESIS". We will have the chance to see the unique creations of the designer, the presentation of the collection AW 2011 and also an exposition of her previous collections including the prints and the graphics that made her famous.

Project ''Valaoritou 20''

Yesterday was the opening night of the project 'Valaoriotu 20' , introduced by Georgia Dodou and Kyriaki Sidiropoulou . Four designers were part of this 'fashion installation'... the jewel designer Katerina Ioannidis , the fashion designer Thomis Papadimitriou, the costum light designer Giannis Pomakis and the art designer Nikos Rakkas.  The idea of the project was the  presentation and the introduction of the designers work with the audience. Check out the photos because, I think this inspiring concept was just the beginning for what is coming up in the future. The projects 'Concepts Incorporated' will continue and more events will take palce in Thessaloniki, with participants designers from diferent backgrounds.

After she was introduced to us here, now we see more of  Thomis Papadimitriou's new work! I just loved the bright blue dress! Enjoy her creations!

I first saw his work here, but this time his photos totally blew my mind! The first one is really my favourite and if you could see the title, says "Without you I'm nothing" (that is also my favourite Placebo song).  Actually Nikos Rakkas told me his titles is something like a soundtrack! 

Katerina Ioannidis's jewelry  were presented with a very original way!
